Vintage Green Review (VGR) is a zero waste education, lifestyle, and consulting business. VGR helps people live a vibrant, low waste lifestyle with vintage-inspired solutions that make sustainability fun and interesting—through time-tested ideas inspired by history and life before plastic.
As the founder and owner of Vintage Green Review, Sarah Andert is bringing the zero waste movement to New Orleans through this fun, engaging lens where history meets modern eco-friendly ideas. In turn, she's sharing that uniquely New Orleans perspective on zero waste with the world.
Sarah is a Tulane University alumna with a BA in English, Classical Studies, and Art History; and an MA in English literature. She's also an experienced program manager and education professional with an M.Ed in curriculum and instruction from the University of New Orleans. Sarah has completed numerous post-graduate courses in Environmental Studies and Ecology & Evolutionary Biology at Tulane; is a former staff writer with Gambit Weekly where she covered local environmental issues, arts, and culture; and most recently, an adjunct faculty member with Tulane's Taylor Center for Social Innovation and Design Thinking.
Sarah can help you implement a zero waste plan for your home, tailored to your lifestyle. Whether it's a whole-home consult, or a focused one-hour session to chat specifically about creating a zero waste kitchen, bath, work/school, or even a pet-friendly set up, she's here to help.
Sarah's also available to work with nonprofits and small businesses to identify opportunities to reduce waste for individual employees and the organization as a whole. For more information about hiring Sarah, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
