Directions:
With the spout off the cubetainer, the threaded part of the lid should feel loose. After you take it off when you put it back on it is helpful to use both hands. One to brace the cubetainer and another to thread the lid on
The threaded bit and the spout are semi-independent, so that's where it can get tricky. Ignore what the spout is doing and just make sure the threads seat correctly.
Once the threads get properly seated you can spin the spout to where you want it and fully tighten the threads.
Secondarily, it is also possible that the threads have been overtightened, casuing them to jump off a bit and leak. if that's the case just re seat it again and tighten it only til it is well snugged.
You can also use teflon/plumber's tape to help stop a leak if needed.
Keep the original caps to return with the empty bladder for reuse if desired.
