Store your brush bristle side down or hang, to ensure it is fully dry. Rinse with vinegar as needed to prolong life.
End of Life
Remove the head of the brush for composting and replace with new brush head. If you use a composting program, be sure to check if you can include it. Some compost programs feed scraps directly to animals so you don't want any wood splinters ending up in there.
For faster break down you can smash the head of the brush with a hammer into smaller pieces.
