Binchotan Charcoal Water Filter Sticks, 1 stick, 6 month use
Using only the highest grade Binchotan charcoal, our water filters provide an ecological and effective way to remove impurities from your tap water. Binchotan charcoal also improves the taste of tap water with its high mineral content and water-softening properties. One filter can last up to 6 months. Simply toss it in the compost after its lifecycle is complete.
For optimal results, filter your water for 6 to 8 hours or overnight.
How to use it?
Binchotan charcoal does not require much handling. To use it as a water purifier, just let it sit in a jar of water for 6 to 8 hours and enjoy!
Other uses for this charcoal include deodorizing shoes, litter boxes, the refrigerator, etc. Once the charcoal has reached its use, it becomes a perfectly compostable and biodegradable element. Completely eco-friendly and healthy!
How Long Does It Last?
Our Binchotan charcoal is good for a period of 6 months. After about three months, the stick of charcoal should be boiled to help it get rid of the ions and toxins it will have collected, and you can then use it for three more months. Boil the piece of charcoal for about 10 minutes. Leave it to air-dry in a sunlit area. Your charcoal will be good for another 3 months after this process. Afterwards, just put it in your wardrobe, your fridge to get rid of odors or humidity, or by sticking it in your potted plants. This will help with water retention at the foot of your plants. Or you can even use it as compost!
